The Cheltenham branch is a great team, the Branch Manager has created a fun and professional atmosphere, in a brand new purpose built Branch. We plan for the long term, so the role and responsibilities can evolve over time . Giving you the opportunity to grow and progress with Travis Perkins

Hours of work: 

Our branches are open Monday - Friday from 7.30am - 5.00pm & Saturdays from 7.30am - 12.00pm. 

You will work 42.5 hours per week on a shift pattern during these opening hours and will be required to work every other Saturday morning.

What will I be doing? 

We are a busy team at Travis Perkins Tool Hire, everyday is different. After an onboarding and induction process: 

• Someone with basic mechanical knowledge or an interest in tools and equipment

• Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers, so it’s essential that you have great Customer Service skills 

• You will need a “can do” attitude, be quick to learn and have great attention to detail whilst working at pace. 

What experience do you need?

We really don’t mind what sector you come from, we just want your transferable skills, customer service and a great work ethic. We will support and train you in everything else !!!

How will we support you?

Right from the start of your career with us, you’ll be supported in your development. You’ll join our Certificate in Tool Hire Programme, a 12 month Apprenticeship that will give you the tools to be successful in your role. Over the length of your apprenticeship programme, you’ll explore:

• Our safety culture within branch

• How to service and maintain our tools

• The products we hire and the services we provide
