Supply Chain Data Analyst

We, at Travis Perkins have an exciting and varied opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst (Data Analyst) to join our dynamic Product Supply team based at our Travis Perkins Head Office in Lakeside - Northampton.

Using your strong Excel and data manipulation skills, you will optimise product availability and stock levels so that all sales opportunities can be realised, whilst working within stock budgets. Your strong stakeholder management and communication skills will be utilised on a daily basis, as you will be the first point of call for suppliers and internal stakeholder departments in regards to product supply queries.


Key responsibilities
● Analyse sales, identifying and reacting to fluctuations and trends,monitoring and valuation of stock levels.
● To identify and resolve any supplier issues which may impact on the scheduled work plan.
● To manage the forecast replenishment process and all exceptions to drive maximum availability whilst within stock budgets
● Plan inbound supply in line with the warehouse capacity constraints and to collaborate effectively with the warehouse teams to ensure that any risks are highlighted and managed effectively
● Investigate deviation from forecast, whether that be from demand spikes (contracts), growth in sales or changing market conditions and ensure the system is optimised to best manage and secure availability within stock budgets
● To ensure that all Purchase Orders are placed within the agreed supplier lead times.
● To develop and maintain an effective working relationship with suppliers
