We, at Travis Perkins, have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Stock Improvement Manager, based in our Cardiff Range Centre. Reporting into our Regional Managing Director (SW&W) you will be operating in a regional capacity across the South West and Wales regions. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Stock and availability performance targets are met in all the Sub Regions and Branches, monitoring  and maintaining stock product ranges and looking for continuous improvement to maximise sales with our customers.

Utilising your experience you will provide the effective management of stock across the Region and Branches ensuring maintenance of Company Standards for stock holding, accuracy, availability stock health and stock management disciplines and principles.  You will be working collaboratively with Regional Directors to ensure the resolution of stock audit queries; this will involve carrying out stock investigations in branches with an unexpected result or an untraceable differential.

Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the team at our Cardiff Range Centre to support and improve all aspects of branch ordering & product supply.

  • Support RD’s and their branches in reducing dead stock and overstocks aligned to divisional initiatives and  constantly monitor stock values so that they are met as per AOP stock targets.

  • Deliver stock management training programmes for branch management and attend BM/ABM meetings as necessary to develop and educate Best Practice for efficient Stock Management
