If so, we have an exciting opportunity that might be right up your alley! We're currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join Benchmarx, covering Essex, Kent and the South Coast of the UK.

As a Regional Sales Manager at Benchmarx, you'll work with a team of dedicated and motivated colleagues, who collaborate and support each other to achieve our goals. Our team comprises some of the most creative and innovative minds in the industry and remains at the forefront of our markets, thanks to our in-house product knowledge and brand marketing experience.

This role will be hybrid but extensive travel around Essex and the South Coast.

What Will You Be Doing?
As a key member of the sub-regional leadership teams, is accountable for establishing a sales culture where all sales colleagues can operate at their best to achieve high performance and constantly encouraging a winning in sales.
Develops and manages sub-regional strategic and tactical sales and customer plans in alignment with regional and national business goals to maximise sales and profitability.
Leads the sales ledger performance, drives an increase in customer penetration in BMX sales through the use of quote systems and SAM.
Relationships and stakeholder management is key for us, as you will be using strategic and planned account management methodology, to ensure that every sales opportunities across all product categories are optimised with your sub region.
Analytically minded, utilising data and analytics to drive improvement. Spot opportunities and review performance, using structured review meetings, field based assessments and results analysis.
Developing and leading a high performing external and internal sales team. Ensuring integration across sales and the fuller Travis Perkins business.
Research and gain in depth knowledge of local markets, both in terms of opportunities and competitor threats.
What Are We Looking For?
We're searching for someone who has proven experience in managing clients and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. You should also have strong abilities in understanding customer objectives in order to develop successful strategic plans and the ability to identify new sales opportunities and create solutions for your customers to deliver long-term profitable sales growth for both parties. Being enthusiastic, resilient, resourceful, proactive, and well-organised are some of the key traits we're looking for.
Does this sound like you?
Previous experience in a related business/sales role
Someone that is highly adaptable, resilient and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive
Customer and sales focused with strong negotiation and commercial skills.
Strong communicator with the ability to lead a thriving sales team
Experienced with performance and stakeholder management
Career focused and want to build a career to become a key player in the success of a large PLC
