Product Development Manager - Bricks

Travis Perkins

Scotland & North England Region


Do you have a creative flair and love working with products? If the answer is yes then Travis Perkins are currently recruiting for a Product Development Manager - Bricks. Come and realise your potential with a company built on great people and the very best products.


This role involves dealing with branches, suppliers & customers. It incorporates the delivery and interpretation of sales data analysis, range participation analysis and range mapping alongside the task of collating trends forecasting and supporting the development and implementation of brick ranging, brick credibility and sales to drive growth in our Region.


  • Identifying and developing relevant market/customer led initiatives that will support the profitable growth of our Brick Category in the Travis Perkins Scotland & North England

  • Reviewing the range, stock & profitability of brick ranges & branches and take appropriate decision to develop / retain / reduce / eliminate.

  • Product Range Definition & Stock Management

  • Creating usable and functional data for range mapping to further develop strategies on:

  • Range reduction / portfolio management

  • NPD & Innovation

  • Lifecycle management

  • Continuous product improvement


We are looking for someone who has a great understanding of the Brick market within Scotland & North of England. You will work with branches, our Commercial team based in Head Office, suppliers and major customers. You will be highly numerate, have strong analytic skills to manipulate data and identify gaps and opportunities. You will possess excellent influencing and negotiating skills and able to demonstrate your drive, enthusiasm and continuous improvement outlook.
