What you'll do
This is a hybrid role, however the ideal candidate will need to based in the South West.
Are you a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for optimising finance processes and driving efficiency? Look no further! We're looking for a talented Finance Systems Analyst to join our team and help us revolutionise the way we work with financial systems.
As our Finance Systems Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects aimed at improving processes within our Finance department. Your keen eye for detail and analytical mindset will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for process enhancement, maximising efficiency, and driving the successful implementation of new business reports and systems.
Day-to-day
Developing & Reviewing. Given the systems-focused nature of this role, you'll actively participate in the testing and development process of new business reports and systems. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to review existing processes across the Finance teams, seeking areas for improvement to maximize efficiency.
Delivering. Not only will you be a key support for our Finance team, you'll also be helping the rest of the business! You’ll be delivering end to end user training to educate users on our systems and processes and will help users resolve any problems.
Support. You'll be a crucial source of support for our busy finance team. Your assistance will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of various finance projects.
What you'll bring
Drive and Passion. You have a desire to study towards a financial qualification or you'll already be AAT Qualified. Your energy and passion for wanting to see individuals and the business succeed will be at the heart of what you do.
Experience. Experience of Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control. Working within a multi channel retail is desirable but not essential. You'll also have experience in Excel and or Google sheets.
Understanding data. This role includes data handling which will require you to work with numerical data within financial systems as well as working with complex spreadsheets.
