National Sales Business Development Executive - Facilities Management Sector
Location: Home/Field based across the Midlands and South England
£Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

We, at Travis Perkins have a vacancy as a National Sales Business Development Executive to join our National Sales Team, with a key focus on national customers within the Facilities Management sector.


Operating in a home/field based capacity, you will expand our Facilities portfolio of customers, by shaping strategic activities to establish and maintain Travis Perkins as the Key Supplier to our customer base and being proactive to develop optimised profitable sales and gross profit.

Working closely and reporting into your National Sales Sector Manager, you will develop national sales opportunities within the Facilities Management sector, ranging from: public sector organisations, Manufacturing and Leisure and Retail.


Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining regular contact with the key decision makers within assigned customer lead accounts.

  • Achieve challenging but realistic sales and margin targets for allocated customer ledger accounts.

  • Liaise with our internal Credit Management team, to ensure prompt invoice query resolution.

  • Liaise with the National Sales Office, Regional Sales Offices, Regional Directors and key branch locations, to develop optimum sales both Direct and Ex-Yard across the full range of product groups.

  • Working with key suppliers, ensuring that all business development opportunities are maximized and that full and proper use of manufacturers facilities/staff are made.
