We, at Travis Perkins, have a brilliant opportunity for a Group Hire Trainer to join our collaborative Learning and Development team with an opportunity to deliver training the business up and down the country.

You will be working with our Tool Hire businesses and helping them to develop their skills and therefore increase sales. You will also be looking to constantly improve the training given and strive to support the hire teams at any given opportunity.

Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

  • Continually review, develop and present training modules to ensure compliance to an agreed standard of safety and presentation.
  • Delivery of improved performance standards through training that supports senior management to raise the capability and desired behaviour’s of Tool Hire colleagues within all brands that offer Tool Hire
  • Work with Group Training Dept. and Group Hire Commercial Manager to ensure all training is delivered within agreed workable time frames, whilst agreeing workable methods of measurement.
  • Work with Group Hire Operations team to enhance standards, and look to increase customer activity through effective training and coaching program
