Job Description

Estimating is more than just producing technically accurate product and pricing info, Estimating offers the confidence to our customers that we can price, supply and deliver the right products at the right time allowing the successful completion of their projects. So to manage our Estimating team naturally takes more than just delegation and performance reviews. As our Estimating Manager, you’ll lead by example, providing a best in class, seamless estimating service with our team of Estimators.

The Estimating team supports our branch network and customers nationally, working on domestic construction projects. Role critical accountability is ensuring our customer's expectations are met through maintaining lead times and looking at opportunities to increase productivity and our service offering. Ensuring quality control measures and regulatory requirements are maintained, reviewed and updated as required.

You’ll also take the lead on:

- Developing Estimating systems, ensuring take up of the estimating service, giving a consistent
approach to scheduling, archiving and maintaining a best in class service
- Benchmarking services to ensure they reflect our target market and regulatory
requirements
- Monthly MI reporting
- Maintaining our collaborative team working culture within the business

Experience supervising and managing a team within the construction industry would be advantageous to ensure you and the team successfully meet customer and business expectations along with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings, whilst also having strong commercial awareness. Knowledge and experience within the Building Materials industry is highly beneficial as this will allow you to really understand our customers needs.
