This is a hybrid based role with travel requirements to attend meetings weekly.
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, our Supply Chain Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimising the company's supply chain operations through data-driven insights and analysis. This position involves providing accurate and valuable data, conducting thorough analyses, and offering informed recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Supply Chain function. By utilising data analytics and collaborating with various stakeholders, our Supply Chain Analyst will contribute to driving continuous improvements and achieving operational excellence within Toolstation's Supply Chain.
Day-to-day
Gather, validate, and organise supply chain data from multiple sources to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
Utilise advanced data analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities within the supply chain operations.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes.
Analyse demand patterns and historical data to ensure optimal stock availability while minimising excess inventory costs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain function based on data insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of supply chain initiatives and projects.
Present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating better understanding and decision-making processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in supply chain analytics and technology.
What you'll bring
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Data Analyst or similar analytical role within the supply chain or logistics domain.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets.
Technical Expertise, Google Big Query experience is essential for this role. You will also be an advanced user of Excel, Google Sheets and reporting tools e.g Google Data Studio. Macro and SQL experience is also preferable.
Commerciality, you’ve worked in a large commercial environment before and it would be great if you have the experience working in a multi channel retailer, but don’t panic, it isn’t essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
