We, at Travis Perkins have an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional to join us as our new Contract Manager to support with one of our new clients. This is a varied role that will maintain and improve the operational performance of branches in conjunction with our new client. You will utilise your driven nature and passion for customer service to shape the way that this large contract is managed. We are looking for someone that isn’t fazed by a challenge and would love the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a high profile role.
Alongside the above you would also be responsible for:
Monitoring, reviewing and agreeing action plans to rectify variances to contractual obligations or company standards in relation to CSA’s, stock ranges and availability, dump coding and specials sales, third party transactions, customer purchase data.
Monitoring trading margins (and applied margin uplifts on specials / directs) at branch or customer level to ensure contractual compliance, minimising price discrepancies and maximising product margins in conjunction with the branch/store manager(s).
Setting up and maintaining any client specific product requirements (the “core range”), developing a process of value engineering the customer product catalogue over the lifetime of the contract, and ensuring that a record of this is kept for re-tender purposes.
You will be utilising your previous in depth product knowledge to continue forging long lasting stakeholder relationships, where your excellent communication skills will enable you to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals. Your strong numeracy and Excel capability will be key in this role when working with Google Sheets to organise data.
