Job Description

Are you a confident communicator who has the ability to form solid relationships? Do you have a passion for sales and are currently working within a face to face sales role? Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an opportunity for an Area Sales Representative to join our team. 

What you’ll do

Joining our business as an Area Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships and developing business from a predetermined sales ledger. You’ll be out on the road meeting people face-to-face and developing business through long-lasting relationships, alongside this you will provide sales support to branches helping to secure business. 

You will be responsible for the development of profitable sales from existing customers within Devon and Cornwall. Whilst out on the road and speaking to customers you will identify and introduce new customers to Travis Perkins. You will be self driven to maximise the sales and profits from those customers, by delivering sales against target through liaison with key stakeholders.

Is this you?

You will have a proven ability of working within a territory / field based sales role, building strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders.
You will also have a proven experience in identifying new sales opportunities and the ability to create solutions for customers, to deliver long term profitable sales growth for both parties.
